Zac Efron To be in Nicholas Sparks film? How had no one thought of this before?

ZanessaZanessaIt does seem pretty logical. I mean dreamy-loo boy meets tearjerker story that inevitably ends with someone dying and someone sitting under a willow tree in North Carolina. Plus Zac obviously doesn't mind doing the tear-jerker film thing. I mean have you seen the trailer for his new film Charlie St.Cloud. He is a recreational sailor who gets in a car accident with his little brother who dies which results in him not moving on with his life and playing baseball with a 10-year-old ghost. Zac decided he had to move as far away from his squeaky-clean, singing image as fast as he could. He is slated to be the star of the film adaptation of The Lucky One which is about a U.S. marine in Iraq (of course) whose good luck charm is a photo of a girl he has never met who he must find when he comes home. And Nicholas Sparks tends to take actors into the next level of their career. Ryan Gosling was only doing quirky independent films before The Notebook but now he gets to choose to do nothing but quirky independent films. With those big blue eyes, it would frankly be weird if Zac didn't do a Nicholas Sparks movie. It would like be mean to Mr. Sparks.
